When is the best time to visit the UOR in 2026?
For the best experience at Universal Orlando Resort, plan your visit during times when crowds are smaller and the weather is more pleasant. Ideal periods include mid-January to February (excluding the weekends around MLK and Presidents' Day), the first two weeks of December, and late April into early May.

Things to Know to Enjoy Hassle-Free Arrival and Parking at UOR
There is a dedicated self-parking location for each theme park.
Universal Orlando Resort prioritizes an organized and convenient self-parking system for all its guests. Parking garage address for Universal Epic Universe is different from all other theme parks (plus Universal CityWalk and Volcano Bay)

Paying the daily parking fee
When you get there, make sure to pay the daily parking fee at the Parking Toll Plaza. After you park, you can either walk into the theme park or head through CityWalk. It's a quick walk to both Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida from CityWalk since they're really close to each other.

Prime parking is available at both parking locations. Note that this is a separate tier which also requires additional fees.
Opting for a more convenient choice.
If you want a totally stress-free parking experience, consider valet parking. It is also available on-site at both parking locations; simply follow the directional signage throughout the resort to the valet parking.
Familiarizing oneself with accessible areas.
At Universal Orlando Resort, you can find designated accessible parking for people who have a valid disability placard or license plate. Always keep it visible.
Charging electric vehicles.
You can find a small number of EV chargers at Universal Epic Universe, but they’re just in Prime Parking areas. They work on a first-come, first-served basis.
TIP: When you visit Volcano Bay , look for the signs that lead to the special parking for Volcano Bay. After that, you’ll take a free shuttle to reach the entrance of the water park.
When sharing a ride, carpooling, or taking a taxi.
Universal Orlando provides specific areas for guest pickup and drop-off, which include ride-app services and taxis. Simply follow the Ride App Drop-Off/Pick-Up signage. Also, did you know that being dropped off or picked up can save you from paying parking fees?

Consider purchasing pre-paid parking ahead of time. Simply make an online purchase as a separate transaction and keep the QR code to show to the parking attendant. Prepaid parking is valid at all four Universal theme parks and Universal CityWalk.
